Who Is Eligible for TN NEET UG 2026 Counselling?

Eligibility for Tamil Nadu state quota seats has specific domicile and nativity requirements:

  • Must have qualified NEET UG 2026 with the minimum prescribed cutoff marks
  • Must have studied Classes 6 to 12 in Tamil Nadu. No Nativity Certificate is needed in this case.
  • If studied outside Tamil Nadu, a valid Nativity Certificate issued by the Tamil Nadu government is mandatory
  • Wards of Central Government employees who served in Tamil Nadu for at least 3 years are also eligible
  • Non-domicile candidates can apply only under Management Quota at private self-financing colleges
