About ICFAI UNIVERSITY

Mr.N.J.Yasaswy (1950-2011), Founder of the ICFAI Group of educational institutions and a pioneer in promoting higher education in the private sector had a brilliant academic career: B.Com (Andhra University 1969 – First Rank), CA Inter (May 1971 – First Rank), CA Final (May 1973 – First Rank), ICWA Inter July 1970 – First Rank) and ICWA Final (July 1972 – First Rank). He was the recipient of the Basu Foundation Award for the Best Student of the Year from both – The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (in 1972) and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (in 1973).

ICFAI was established in 1984 as a not-for-profit society with the broad objective of empowering citizens through world class quality education.

ICFAI launched a high end, innovative professional program in financial analysis in 1985. The Program was first-of-its-kind in India, aimed at equipping students and working professionals with cutting-edge knowledge in contemporary areas of finance.

ICFAI University Tripura Admission 2025

The admission procedures for the UG and PG courses are different. However, students who want to apply for the flagship MBA course can check the selection procedure below –

• Entrance Exam: Candidates are required to appear for a national or state-level management entrance test such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, or IBSAT (specific to ICFAI Business School).
• Shortlisting: Based on the entrance exam scores, applicants are shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
• Micro Presentation: Shortlisted applicants then have to participate in a micro-presentation round. They are given a topic to present briefly, showcasing their communication and analytical skills.
• Personal Interview (PI): This stage is to test the overall personality, career aspirations, logical reasoning, and communication abilities of the students.
• Academic Performance: The final selection also considers the student’s academic records from 10th, 12th, and graduation levels.
• Final Admission Offer: Lastly, based on the cumulative score from the above stages, applicants will receive their admission confirmation and campus allocation.

ICFAI University Tripura Placements 2025

ICFAI University Tripura 2025 placements are not released yet. According to the NIRF 2024 report, during the 2023 placements, 67 BTech, 61 MBA, 25 LLB, and 33 BBA LLB students secured job offers. The median salary package for BTech and MBA graduates is INR 7.25 LPA and INR 3.25 LPA, respectively. Also, for LLB and BBA LLB students, the median packages offered were INR 4.02 LPA and INR 4.86 LPA, respectively.
