About GIBS

GIBS Business School was established in 2014 and offers BBA, MBA and PGDM programs. The MBA program at GIBS is a two-year full-time course, recognised by Bangalore University. In addition to its several accreditations, GIBS is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Indian government. GIBS Business School admissions are based on entrance exams, such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA and State CET exam. Candidates must have completed graduation in any field with a minimum of 50% marks. The total fees for the MBA program is INR 11,25,000 for two years.

GIBS is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In 2025, GIBS was ranked 3rd among the Best B-Schools in Karnataka by the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF). The school also secured the 18th position among the Top 25 Fastest Growing Private B-Schools in India. GIBS Business School Admission 2026

Students who are willing to gain admission to GIBS need to appear for CAT, XAT and other relevant exams for its PGDM course. Further, the eligibility for admission in the course requires 50% marks in graduation in the relevant fields. Here is the complete admission process for GIBS Business School:

Click on “APPLY ONLINE” on the GIBS website, fill in the relevant information, and attach the required documents. Pay the application fee and submit the application.

Once the online application is received, the admissions panel will contact the applicant within 48 hours for further processing.

GIBS Business School PGDM Program

To be eligible for the PGDM program, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) with at least 50% marks from an AICTE/UGC/AIU-recognised institution. Final-year students can also apply. Admission is based on scores from national-level entrance exams, such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT, or State-Level CETs, as per AICTE norms. Candidates with prior work experience or additional qualifications are given added weightage during evaluation. For NRI or company-sponsored candidates, selection is based on academic performance, group discussion and a personal interview.

GIBS Business School BBA Program

Admission to the BBA program is structured to ensure accessibility for both domestic and international applicants. Candidates who have completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent (10+2 level) from a recognised board or council are eligible to apply. Students currently awaiting their Class 12 or PUC results are also considered eligible.

GIBS Business School Cutoff 2025

GIBS Business School accepts scores from entrance exams, such as CMAT. MAT, CAT, ATMA and XAT. The 2025 cutoff data has not been released yet. However, here is the 2024 GIBS Bangalore cutoff for the required exams for GIBS PGDM admission:

For the 2025 batch, over 260 companies participated in the GIBS Business School placement drive. The highest package offered was INR 16.15 LPA and the average package stood at INR 7.8 LPA. Some of the top recruiters include HDFC Bank, Mercedes-Benz, Wipro, Bajaj Finance, Accenture, TCS, Asian Paints, Toyota Kirloskar Motors Pvt Ltd, Jindal Steel & Power, Flipkart, PhonePe, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Kansai Nerolac, McKinley Rice and Indigo.

GIBS Business School Rankings 2025

GIBS Business School secured the 3rd rank in Karnataka under the IIRF Best B-School 2025 category. It was also ranked 34th under the ‘Best B-School Placements in India’ category by Times B-School.

The selected applicants for GIBS admission 2025 have to submit the following documents:
