Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) have consistent topped the academic charts in every area of knowledge standing out from the midst of a sea of institutions of repute. Its accomplishments are unparalleled. In the recent past, DSI secured 58 ranks from Visvesvaraya Technological University among 220 engineering colleges in Karnataka (in 2014).
Beginning Academic Year 2015–16, Dayananda Sagar University would offer courses in Engineering, Computer Applications, Sciences, Arts and Management in the Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D levels. DSI Bengaluru Admission 2025

Students who wish to apply for DSI Bengaluru are required to visit the official website and register online using a valid email ID and mobile number. After registration, candidates are required to complete the admission form with all the necessary information, including personal details, academic background, and contact details. They will need to select a course and specialisation, upload all the required documents, which include mark sheets, photographs, and ID proof, and pay the application fee online through a debit card, credit card, or net banking. After everything is verified, the candidates will be required to submit the form and download the confirmation page for submission. Admission to B.Tech is based on KCET or JEE Main score, B.Arch is based on NATA score, MBA/PGDM is based on CAT/PGCET/KMAT score, M.Tech is based on PGCET score, MCA is based on a PGCET score, BDS is based on NEET score, and MDS is based on NEET MDS score. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for counselling and seat confirmation.

DSI Bengaluru has shown a consistent improvement in its placement performance. The number of students placed has steadily increased from 1,104 in 2023 to 1,181 in 2025, reflecting the institute’s growing industry relevance and effective placement initiatives. A notable rise is also observed in the number of companies visiting the campus, which peaked at 377 in 2024, indicating strong corporate engagement.
