AP ICET Counselling 2026: Registration Link, Important Dates, Required Documents, and Step-by-Step Admission Process

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), together with the Department of Higher Education, Andhra Pradesh, has finally put up the notice for the commencement of AP ICET 2026 Counseling Registration for Phase 1 admissions. The candidates qualifying for the same can apply for MBA/ MCA to both Andhra Pradesh universities and colleges affiliated to them directly on the official admissions website cap.apcfss.in.

The counseling process involves registration of candidates, payment of processing fee, online verification of certificates, web options exercise, seat allotment and final physical reporting at designated colleges. For more details, please check the guidelines given below.

AP ICET Counselling 2026 Processing Fees

To complete registration, applicants must pay the non-refundable counselling processing fee through the online payment gateway (UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card):

  • General / OC / BC Candidates: INR 1,250
  • SC / ST / PwD Candidates: INR 650

Step-by-Step AP ICET 2026 Registration Process

Follow these steps to submit the registration form and upload credentials:

  1. Visit the Official Portal: Navigate to cap.apcfss.in.
  2. Select Registration Link: Click on the Candidate Login or New Registration tab under the AP ICET section.
  3. Enter Qualifying Exam Details: Input your Bachelor’s degree hall ticket number, degree passing year, date of birth, mobile number, and Aadhaar number.
  4. Complete OTP Authentication: Enter the One-Time Password sent to your registered mobile number to verify your profile and generate login credentials.
  5. Pay Processing Fee: Log in and submit the application fee according to your category.
  6. Upload Mandatory Documents: Upload clear digital copies of academic and personal certificates in the specified format and size.
  7. Submit and Print Confirmation: Double-check all entered information, submit the form, and save the payment receipt and application confirmation page for future reference.

Mandatory Documents for Verification

Candidates must have scanned copies ready during registration and keep original physical copies (plus photocopies) for final institute reporting:

  • AP ICET 2026 Hall Ticket
  • AP ICET 2026 Rank Card / Scorecard
  • SSC / Class 10 Marks Memo (or equivalent proof of date of birth)
  • Intermediate / Class 12 / Diploma Marks Memo
  • Consolidated Degree Marks Memo and Degree Provisional / Original Degree (OD) Certificate
  • Study Certificates from Class 9 to Graduation (Class 10 to Graduation for 4-year degree holders)
  • Transfer Certificate (TC)
  • Integrated Community Certificate / Caste Certificate (BC / SC / ST candidates, where applicable)
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate valid for the current financial year (if applicable)
  • Residence Certificate / Parents’ 10-Year Residence Certificate for non-local candidates
  • Income Certificate / White Ration Card (for tuition fee reimbursement eligibility)

Verification Guidelines: General vs. Special Categories

  • General and Regular Category Candidates: Certificate verification is conducted online using electronic database cross-referencing. Candidates whose documents pass validation do not need to attend any physical center.
  • Special Category Candidates (PwD, NCC, Sports and Games, CAP, Scouts and Guides, Anglo-Indian): Physical document verification is conducted exclusively at a single designated center:
  • Venue: Government Polytechnic, Near Benz Circle, Vijayawada, Krishna District
  • Reporting Time: 9:00 AM on August 31 (Ranks 1 to 10,000 / PwD all ranks) and September 1, 2026 (Ranks 10,001 to Last Rank).
  • Note: Special category verification is carried out only during Phase 1.

Web Options Entry and Choice Selection Strategy

Once certificates are approved, candidates can log in to exercise web options:

  • College Research: Review historical closing ranks and branch preferences for top institutions like Andhra University (AU), Sri Venkateswara University (SVU), JNTU campuses, and Acharya Nagarjuna University before locking choices.
  • Maximize Options: Enter an adequate number of college and course combinations in priority order to improve allotment chances.
  • Option Modification: Candidates can modify and rearrange their choices during the designated edit window on September 3, 2026, after which selections are frozen automatically.
