Reason Behind Your KCET 2026 Result Timeline Shift

In case you’re wondering why the scorecards weren’t released at the end of May, here is the official explanation. KEA changed the schedule of the announcement to properly include the scores of the agriculture and veterinary practicals. These category exams were the only exams left after rescheduling at the Hiriyur center that ended on June 1, 2026.

This wise decision not only keeps your interest safe but also guarantees no mistakes whatsoever in the total merit ranking of more than 24,250 practical stream candidates. Since your final rank card is based on a very strict 50:50 weightage matrix, i.e., 50% of your Class 12 marks and the remaining 50% of your KCET entrance exam score, the evaluating body had to wait for these practical marks to get the most perfect rank list for you.
