AP EAPCET 2026 Exam Pattern
Here is the detailed exam pattern for AP EAPCET 2026(EAMCET).
- Subject-wise Split: The Engineering paper has 80 questions in Maths and 40 each in Physics and Chemistry. Agriculture and Pharma papers have 80 questions in Biology and 40 each in Physics and Chemistry.
- Negative marking: There is no negative marking, so students should answer every single question on the screen.
- Timing of the shifts: There are two shifts in which the exam is conducted, the morning shift(9 AM to 12 PM) and the afternoon shift (2 PM to 5 PM)
- Question Type: All questions are objective-type (MCQs; choose one correct option out of the four options).
AP EAPCET 2026 Score Calculation Rule
Your final result doesn’t depend solely on the exam; your school results also count!
- Entrance Score (75%): Your performance in the AP EAPCET exam will be a factor of three-fourths of your merits.
- Intermediate Marks (25%): You’re awarded one-fourth (1/4) of the score for your marks in the group subjects in your Class 12 examinations.
- Normalization: As the exam is run over multiple days, the authorities apply a “normalization” formula. So, no student is penalised if their shift was set with a harder set of questions.
- Rank Card: After the calculation is done, you’ll get a distinct rank that will be used for your college admissions.
Tips for Web-Based AP EAPCET 2026 Counselling
Since the exam is still running, your next step is counseling. Here are some tips you can follow for a smooth counselling experience.
- Document Folder: Arrange a folder having your Rank Card, Hall Ticket, 10th and 12th certificates, and the Study certificates from Class 6th to 12th.
- Option Entry: Rather than entering a couple of colleges in the “Web Options” stage, enter as many as possible to avoid the chance of missing out on a seat.
- College Research: Research the college placement record and lab facilities of the colleges you’re interested in before the counselling begins.
- Check information: Make sure your caste and income details are entered correctly after feeds, as they’re very important for fee reimbursements.
- Final Freezing: Freeze your wish list only if you’re sure about it completely. Once frozen, you can not change any of your choices.
Steps after AP EAPCET 2026 Result Declaration
- Result Day: According to the expected schedule, the result could be available from 1st June, 2026. Once published, download your Rank Card through the official website with your registration number.
- Counselling Registration: The counselling session is expected to be started, during July. A processing fee is applicable, and you need to register online for the counselling participation.
- Certificate Verification: Most of the verification happens online. You may need to go to a Help Line Centre in case of any issue.
- Seat Allotment: Seat will be allotted to you based on your rank and options filled.
Class Commencement: Once your verification is done, you have to complete document verification at your allotted college. If the verification is done successfully, the class will commence as per the institution’s notice.
